The Accounting Division provides technical and fiscal support to other City Departments and oversees the collection, billing, disbursing, and monitoring of the City's fiscal assets. The Accounting Division includes the following functions: revenue/cashiering, accounts payable, accounts receivable/billing, capital assets reporting and monitoring, payroll, grant reporting and monitoring, budget-to-actual monitoring and reporting, general ledger analysis, cash and investments reporting, preparation and submission of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, and business and animal licensing.
